Noronin Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Noronin, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of the App

Noronin is an educational wellness app that helps you understand the relationship between your daily habits and brain health. The app uses your answers to daily scan questions, and optionally data from Apple HealthKit, to present personalized information about neurochemistry and lifestyle.

The app is for informational and educational purposes only. It is not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing in the app should be used as a substitute for professional medical consultation.

3. Health Disclaimer

The content in the app is based on general scientific and educational information. It is not tailored to your individual medical circumstances.

Do not use the app to make decisions about medication, treatment, or any medical condition. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional if you have concerns about your health.

4. Apple HealthKit

With your permission, the app reads sleep analysis, step count, and exercise minutes from Apple HealthKit. This data is used only to display personalized information to you within the app. It is never shared with third parties or used for advertising. You may revoke access at any time via iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Noronin.

5. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

The app offers optional premium features through auto-renewable subscriptions managed by Apple and RevenueCat.

• Subscriptions are charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings.
• No refunds are offered for partial subscription periods, except where required by applicable law or Apple's refund policy.
• A free trial, if offered, will convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.

6. Intellectual Property

All content in the app, including text, design, graphics, educational content, and code, is the property of NoorLyfe and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the app without prior written consent from NoorLyfe.

The data you generate through your use of the app, including your name, scan answers, and scan history, remains your property and is stored only on your device.

7. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the app
• Use the app to distribute harmful or malicious content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the app or its infrastructure

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NoorLyfe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app, including but not limited to health decisions made based on content in the app.

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under the mandatory laws of your country of residence.

10. Suspension or Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the app if you violate these Terms or use the app in a way that is unlawful or harmful to others. We will provide notice where reasonably possible.

You may stop using the app at any time. Deleting the app from your device will not affect any active subscriptions, which you must cancel separately through your Apple ID account settings.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. However, if you are a consumer residing in another country, you retain the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence.

Any dispute arising from these Terms that cannot be resolved informally may be brought before the courts of Denmark, without prejudice to your right to bring proceedings in your country of residence if required by local mandatory law.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app before they take effect. Continued use of the app after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
